Review: Hello, is this Planet Earth? by Tim Peake

A bonus Saturday review for you  here: Tim Peake’s photo-journal, Hello is this Planet Earth?

There’s not much too it – just page after page of some of the most beautiful photographs I’ve ever seen, all of them taken from 220 miles up in the International Space Station.

There are some real beauties – the pyramids, the Amazon, the Volga, Manhattan, London, and much more (plenty of lovely space shots in there too). Every page looks like it has had a cool million pounds spent on it, to make the photographs as good as possible.

This is a brilliant coffee table book. if you’re the least bit interested in space (or in fact, the Earth too), or photography, then I recommend it. A lot.
