Review: Sixteen Satires by Juvenal

Juvenal’s Sixteen Satires: brings Rome to life, but constantly moans about how things used to be better. Like a 2000 year old Daily Mail.

If you’re reading Classics, I’d go for Tacitus. More fun and more gossip-y.

All right though I suppose (and not too long, which is a bonus).
