Review: Pieces of Light by Charles Fernyhough

This is just interesting. It’s a look at how we remember things, how it works, what happens when people’s memory fails.

Memory is pretty much responsible for our entire personality though right? You can’t underestimate it – people can be left in ruins by bad memories, or can experience a sense of deja vu over every new experience because it just isn’t organised in the right way in our brains, or it can just ‘leave’ us when we get older.

I found this fascinating, so if you’ve the faintest interest, give it a go. It won’t disappoint.

My favourite bit was that I got into a twitter conversation with the author after I read it.
