Review: Othello by William Shakespeare

Iago might be my favourite literary villain of all time (I challenge you to read it without thinking of the parrot from Aladdin).

Anyway, this is a good one – everything you can think of is in here: racism, jealousy, loyalty, betrayal, love, revenge, and a ton of other stuff most likely.

I think the phrases “neither here nor there” and to “wear one’s heart upon one’s sleeve” came from this too. Clever guy that Shakespeare, eh?
