Review: John Dies at the End by David Wong

This is brilliant fun – it’s a page turner with a lot of original thinking crammed in.

It’s not going to inspire you or anything, but you’ll enjoy it all the same. It even had a film made from it starring Paul Giammatti (is a cult film apparently).

Anyway, it’s sort of sci-fi, comic horror, thriller thing, with an alien invasion of Earth going on right under our feet.

Favourite bit is the way he turns those things you think you see out of the corner of your eye into monsters.
